Dr. Mishka Williams, DVM, DACVS
Dr. Mishka Williams grew up in Toronto, Canada, and earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from The Ontario Veterinary College in 2011. After relocating to the Los Angeles area, she completed her surgical training and became board-certified in 2017. Dr. Williams is dedicated to both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and has a strong passion for teaching, earning the distinction of Surgical Preceptor of the Year at Western University.
At CARES, Dr. Williams is committed to addressing the challenges posed by inflated veterinary costs and the crisis in shelters where animals face euthanasia due to a lack of resources and unaffordable care. She looks forward to working with the CARES team to provide accessible, high-quality care and make a meaningful impact in these critical areas.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Williams enjoys exploring Southern California with her husband and son, indulging in her love for food, and experiencing musical theater. Her family also includes three rescue dogs: Minka, Elton, and Zeke.
